CHUM SERIES
CONCERTS FOR HEALTH & WELL-BEING

In association with the CHUM, the MCMF we created a brand-new series of four (4) admission-free concerts in the Amphithéâtre Pierre-Péladeau.  Featured are established artists playing alongside Quebec’s finest rising-star talents. This is the format of mentor/apprentice musical partnership which has contributed to the renown of MCMF. 

Programming centers around health and well-being integrating music as an important part of the world-class health care offered by CHUM.  Music is performed live before an audience admission-free and video recorded in HD for broadcast over the CHUM’s closed-circuit TV in patient rooms and elsewhere where, due to illness and confinement, people would otherwise not be able to be present.  In addition to reaching the CHUM’s staff and patients, concerts reach a worldwide audience over the web through broadcast on  The Violin Channel and over the MCMF YouTube channel.
