A DAY IN THE LIFE.  As the title suggests each of these outstanding young artists digitally chronicled what their day was like living in the imposed isolation of early Covid days.  Each found creative ways to remain active, to continue to practice and to live life as best it could be lived finding in their music, the energy and the courage to survive those dark days

The A DAY IN THE LIFE project not only encouraged ten young people who were without employment or concert performances it also stimulated them to be innovative.  Some had never before created a video.  When you watch these videos and experience the level of sophistication attained using this medium you will be amazed. All the videos were self-recorded on their iPhones! .

Timothy Chooi

Christina Bouey

Bryan Cheng

Emily Kruspe

Originally from Toronto, she is, at the age of 28, considered one of the most talented violinists in chamber music. Byungchan Lee

In this seventh episode, discover the fabulous violinist Byungchan Lee, laureate of the Canada Council for the Arts Musical Instrument Bank. At only 26 years old, he has already performed as a soloist with international orchestras, toured the world's most prestigious venues and is recognized as one of the most virtuoso violinists of his generation. Cameron Crozman

For this second to last episode of A DAY IN THE LIFE, discover the prodigious Canadian cellist Cameron Crozman! A laureate of the Canada Council for the Arts Musical Instrument Bank, he was named at the age of only 26 "Canada's next great cello star" by CBC Musique and studied cello under Gautier Capuçon in the Class of Excellence at the Louis Vuitton Foundation in Paris. Embark on a day in his life, discover how he adapts his profession to health restrictions and set off on a culinary journey intertwined with Spanish "pan con tomate" and Japanese tea art.

Lucy Wang

Embark on A DAY IN THE LIFE of the wonderful violinist Lucy Wang! Winner of the Musical Instrument Bank of the Canada Council for the Arts, she is, at only 23 years old, the founder of the Viano String Quartet and a resident of the Los Angeles Conservatory under the direction of Martin Beaver. A chamber musician of great stature, she has already performed on the greatest stages of North America and Europe. Eva Aronian

In this last episode of A DAY IN THE LIFE, discover the fantastic Canadian violinist Eva Aronian! A laureate of the Canada Council for the Arts Musical Instrument Bank, she has delighted audiences around the world with her solo and chamber music performances. At only 25 years old, she perfectly balances emotional charge with technical virtuosity. She is now studying under David Takeno at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. Embark on a day in her life and discover how she adapts her job to health restrictions, her routine during confinement and beautiful London views.
